Confederation Park - This Luxurious Superwash Merino Sock Weight Wool is absolutely as soft as butter and an absolute delight to run through the fingers. Our splendid Merino Wool sock base contains 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon for durability.
This yarn has a fabulous form and takes on texture and colour delightfully. This base will have you dreaming your hiking while knitting hiking socks… in your favorite mountain range of course. This scrumptious fiber comes kettle dyed to perfection as well as hand painted to add a little touch of whimsy. Dyed in small batches to it’s full glory this fingering weight sock yarn blooms color like flowers in springtime.

Confederation Park in the northwest part of Calgary was once known as “the North Hill Coulee” and is home to the Confederation Park Golf Course and the annual Lions Festival of Lights.

I hope you enjoy the variance of color on these uniquely space dyed, kettle dyed yarns just as much as I enjoy seeing each and every skein come to life in the depths of my dye pot.

Sincerely,
