I’m a philosophy graduate who knits, sews, and crochets in my spare time. It’s a wonderful stress reliever, and I can make beautiful things that would cost me in some cases hundreds of dollars retail. Save money and relax–who could ask for a better combination?

Ok, ok, as all the fiber snobs out there are saying, how in God’s name do you manage to save money doing this?!?!?!? I don’t, actually, but it’s a lot of fun, and the things I can make really would cost a lot in stores…

I got married in 2009 to another knitter by an aunt who’s obsessed with knitting and got a mother-in-law who also spends a lot of time with yarn. I love my wife, here addressed as Naomi, all the much more for it. After all, she’ll actually wear the stuff I make… >.>
