I am an independent music teacher who loves to knit and crochet! In addition to being a music instructor, I work as a knitting and crochet instructor at my LYS, Twill.

When Twill opened in October of 2012, I immediately got hooked on “real” yarn. I hadn’t yet had the opportunity to work with such fine fibers such as wool, merino, silk and more. The job funds my yarn addiction and allows me to spend time with many other creative minds. It seems crazy to call it a “job”. The saying holds true, when you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life!

I’ve been knitting Since December of 2012 & crocheting since I was about 12 years old. Being a part of the Twill community gave me the courage to give knitting a try. Once I started, I was hooked! It has been so much fun to take the skills I’ve learned knitting existing patterns to create my own designs. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do!
