I’m an independent artist and indie yarn dyer, based in Dublin. I’m an architecture graduate, and have master of photography. I’m a knitter, music producer, DJ, illustrator, gamer and many other things :) My inspirations for my art works and dyeing yarn come from my background in architecture, paintings and art movements, especially I love the colors of Joan Miro, and shapes of Memphis and Bauhaus works. My infinite love for bright and vivid colors is the main elements of my work.

I appreciate dining with friends and home parties, love reading books in a very irregular and irrelevant order, petting cats and dogs, trying new recipes at home, knitting while watching my favorite series again and again, taking day long sun bathes in summers and drink my favorite drinks.

I’m collecting all kinds of waste, and am into finding ways of recycling anything I can. I get sad from seeing bad news around the world, but never stop watching and care about what is happening everyday. I stopped working for corporations a few years ago and concentrated on my own productions freely.

Mira Isan Studio is the fruit of many years being active in making handcrafts and selling through fairs & exhibitions under different brand names from 2010.

After moving to Dublin, I decided to finally establish a studio where I can sell my hand dyed yarns, my crafts and art works.
