Ms.Flâneure
Behind Ms. Flâneure is Sophia, an independent knitwear designer based in Seoul.
The name comes from the French word flâneur — one who strolls the city unhurried, observing closely and finding beauty in the everyday. Each pattern takes its name from a character in a novel, an opera, or a film.
Every design begins with a single idea that defines the garment — a sculptural knot at the waist, a bow at the neck — and everything else is kept quiet, letting that one idea carry the piece.
The design focuses on two elements: the fit and the finish. The garments are designed for real bodies, and the finishing is always intentional — clean edges, a neatly folded neckband, the small decorative stitches at the neckline.
Each pattern includes clear, explicit written instructions, in addition to schematics, video tutorials for the techniques, and instructions for adjusting every section to your body — and each is tested by a group of knitters before release.
The patterns are for personal use — please don’t copy, translate, resell, or sell finished pieces made from them.

Welcome to the world of Ms. Flâneure.
