Hi! My name is Tara, and Queen Bee Homestead is my business! I am a wife, mom of two, crocheter, and homesteader. I love to help others learn new skills and facts, I enjoy making other people’s lives easier. My patterns are made to make the homesteader’s life easier, and sometimes I just have to make a humorous project (like my butt coasters!).

I enjoy writing crochet patterns that are useful, clear, and full of photos to make every pattern easy! I spend a lot of time making sure my patterns are free of errors and are easy to follow. I started with my blog, Queen Bee Homestead, and have expanded to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and Etsy. I cover both homesteading skills and crochet. I would love to someday make my own yarn (and I’m the type that when I do that, expect posts and videos helping you learn the process too!). Currently, my little farm has honey bees, Lilac rabbits, and Kinder goats.
