This is a cotton drink coaster of a goat butt, with the goat looking back at you! A hilarious addition to any goat lover’s coffee table.

This is worked in a continuous round for the main body, to a diameter of approximately four inches. Guage is not important for this project. The main body color (white in this pattern) will have the most used - approximately .5 ounces (23 yards) per coaster. There will be a small amount of Rosey II for the butt hole and optional udder, and lily sugar n’ cream overcast for the horns and hooves (I like the stiffer cotton so the horns stand up better). A small amount of number 10 crochet thread is also used in black and pink to embroider the eyes and nose.

This is an intermediate pattern, as it includes some techniques that are a little beyond beginner level. For example, you will be attaching pieces together, crocheting around the edges of pieces, and crocheting on both sides of a chain.
