This pattern was written to be your go to light weight but cozy beanie with just a little height for a chic modern look. Named for my birth year 1993 as part of my 30th birthday collection of patterns.

This pattern utilizes 6WPI super bulky yarn, such as 76 yard indie dyed super bulky, Malabrigo Noventa, Baah Sequoia or Tosh ASAP.

Gauge is very important for this pattern, so be sure to check your gauge prior to starting if you aren’t sure of your tension.

NOTE: This pattern starts on a P1 instead of a K1!
