Materials:
• One 4mm / US size 6 circular needle, 60cm / 24” in length, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Stitch markers 5 (6, 7), optional, one of which is used to mark the beginning of round.
• Tapestry needle for sewing in threads.
• Blocking materials.
• Worsted weight yarn in two colours, approximately 152m (192m, 227m) / 166yds (210yds, 248yds) of both Main Colour and Contrast Colour, for Chart 1 or approximately 152m (192m, 227m) / 166yds (210yds, 248yds) of the Contrast Colour and 35m (40m, 47m) / 38yds (44yds, 51yds) for each of the Main Colours for Chart 2. The sample is shown in size 1 using Chart 2 and is worked in Malabrigo Rios - 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 192m / 210yds per 100g in various leftovers.

Size:
Three sizes: 1 (2, 3). The cowl measures 54cm (65cm, 76cm) / 21” (25.5”, 30”) in circumference and 29cm / 11.5” in height.

Gauge:
22 stitches and 24 rows = 10cm / 4” in stranded knitting, worked in the round and blocked.
