This design is inspired by Waldorf pegs dolls and by the book Woody Hazel and Little Pip by Elsa Beskow.

As sewing’s not my forte, my goal was to design a knitter friendly peg doll. To make them less fiddly, there is no wooden peg under the clothes, but rather a wooden bead head and pipe cleaner.

Supplies needed: 12mm wooden bead for head, pipe cleaner for body, scrap yarn and one evening.

Happy Knitting!

Cute little Acorn boy. So small! (Adente)

I needed about 1 hour for each. And the most time I spent on their hair. It’s always fun thinking about color. (Saphiera)

Thank you to the pattern creator for sharing such an adorable pattern. (Lyndagail2)
