The name Adeline means “of noble rank, a princess”, and these socks with their feminine pattern that is ever so slightly reminiscent of shields are very fitting for a princess!

Constructed as top down socks with a heel flap and gusset. The heel is knitted in Heel Stitch which creates a durable, cushioned heel. Four sizes are given for this sock, and the length of the sock is easily adjusted for any foot.

The pattern is available as part of a beautiful yarn box of treats from Black Sheep Wools that includes:

2 complementing skeins of West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply (main colour and contrast colour for heels and toe)
1 x Adeline Pattern by Winwick Mum
1 x bespoke stitch marker
1 x recipe card
1 x flowering tea bud
