The yarn used in the sample is sold in Korea and not available on Ravelry, but I recommend using a fingering + mohair combo or a sport weight yarn. This design looks beautiful in any yarn and is perfect for everyday wear so I hope you’ll knit it in a yarn you love!

NEEDLES

• Large: US 6 (4mm) - 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needles for the body, 16” / 40cm circular needles for the sleeves.
• Small: US 5 (3.5mm) - 16” / 40cm circular needles for the neckband, hem, and cuff.

GAUGE
21 stitches and 31 rows / Large needles / pattern stitch / 10 x 10 cm 4x4” / after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
The cardigan is worked top-down. Sloped shaping is added at the back shoulders, followed by the armhole. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulders to work the fronts. At the underarm, the front and back pieces are joined to continue working the body. The button band is worked imultaneously with the body. Stitches are picked up around the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round, and around the neckline to work the neckband.
