The Adored Rib Summer Cardigan is a V-neck short-sleeve design, perfect for spring and summer wear.
It looks great with a close fit using minimal ease, and just as lovely when worn with a relaxed fit.
The version made with Cotton Baby Lino by Gepard Garn has a neat silhouette, while the Hør Silke version, a linen-silk blend, offers a beautiful drape.
It shares the same base stitch pattern as the long-sleeve Adored Rib Cardigan, but other details differ slightly.

Contsruction
The cardigan is worked top-down, starting from the back shoulders. First, short rows are used to shape the shoulders, then the back is worked down to the underarms. Stitches are picked up from the shoulders to work the fronts. The armholes are shaped while forming the V-neck neckline, and the body is then joined at the underarms and worked in one piece. Stitches are picked up along the front edges to knit the button bands. Finally, the sleeves are worked in the round from the armholes, and buttons are sewn on to finish.

The model in the photos has a bust circumference of 90 cm / 35.4” and wears size M, which fits best.
Both the Cotton baby lino and Hør silke versions were worked to the same gauge and finished measurements, but the Hør silke version feels slightly more relaxed due to its drape.

• Large: US 4 (3.5mm) - 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needles for the body, 16” / 40cm circular needles for the sleeves.
• Small: US 2.5 (3mm) - 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needles for the button bands and cuff.

Gauge
22 stitches and 34 rows / Larger needles / pattern stitch / 10 x 10 cm / after washing and blocking.
