Almaz sweater
Almaz sweater is a beautiful and feminine garment featuring
eye-catching mock cable ribbing at the cuffs. The sweater
is worked seamlessly from the top down. The body and
sleeves are worked in traditional rib stitch, alternating knit
and purl stitches.
The back is worked flat starting from
the neckline. The European shoulder line is created by
increasing stitches on both sides of the back piece. The
front pieces are then worked from the shoulders and joined
below the neckline. Under the armholes, the front and back
pieces are joined, and the work continues in the round. After
the body, the sleeves are worked top down. The cuffs are
decorated with a chain-like mock cable pattern formed by
wrapping the yarn around the stitches.
Almaz – means diamond. Strong, beautiful, and
irreplaceable.
