A pair of simple sleeveless crochet summer dresses for toddlers that use the same openwork stitch pattern but with slightly different designs.

The original white Amelie (2015) includes a central panel of solid treble stitches inspired by a vintage design from the 1960s. Audrey (2026) uses the same stitch pattern but without the central panel and with an alternate neckline and armhole finishing.

Both patterns use approx. 150g DK weight yarn (acrylic is best for children’s clothing) and a 4mm hook.

Amelie is made using Sirdar Snuggly DK in the colour Cream (303).
Audrey is made using Stylecraft Special DK in the colour Blush (1833).

Both come in the sizes:

1-2 yrs - to fit 20” chest
2-3 yrs - to fit 22” chest
3-4 yrs - to fit 24” chest
