Annabel Scarf
• The scarf is worked from the centre of the long straight edge; the end increases and centre increases fan out to form a triangular shape with the cast off edge forming the point at the centre of the shorter edges.
• More panels can be added if a (larger) shawl is preferred as well as extra eyelet rows if a laced edge is desired.
• 100g of 4 ply/ fingering yarn. Suggested yarns: wool, linen, cashmere. Sock wool and merino yarns work well.
• The right side (RS) is odd numbered rows, the wrong side (WS) is even numbered rows.
• the scarf is constructed using two alternating panel patterns: garter stitch panel (20 rows); stocking stitch panel (12 rows).
