This softly textured throw blanket shows off horizontal panels of diagonal garter stitch that are set off and bordered by plain garter stitch. The blanket makes up quickly using bulky yarn, but the pattern is easily adjusted to any blanket size or yarn weight you desire. I loved working with Cascade 128 Superwash for this throw, as it slides off the needles smoothly, and shows excellent stitch definition. The diagonal garter sections follow a simple 16 row repeat in an easy to follow combination of knits and purls, laid out very clearly in the instructions. Every right side row is all knits.
