Anny blanket
Help and inspiration can be found in the Facebook group mhl crochet designs
The Anny blanket is named after, and dedicated to my mother Anny <3
The pattern is done in overlay mosaic crochet. It may look hard, but if you can SC and DC you can do mosaic!
If you are new to mosaic, fear not - included in the pattern is an introduction to the technique, with lots of pictures to guide you. I promise you it is easier than it looks!
The pattern can be done in rows, or as seperate squares from the center out - both come with full written instructions and photo tutorials.
This pattern also include Instructions for a double border, so no ends will have to be sown in!
I have used Scheepjes catona 50g/125m for the blanket in rows, but any yarn can be used. Thicker or thinner yarn will affect the size of you blanket, but the proportions will remain the same.
Colors used:
23 x old lace
7 x rust
7 x scarlet
7 x tyrian purple.
For the test of each square, I have used approximately:
2,5 x Scheepjes stonewashed 50g skeins. - black onyx
2,5 x Scheepjes stonewashed 50g skeins- moon stone
Enjoy!
