This drop-shoulder cardigan is worked flat front and back and then separated at the armholes. Side-open pockets are worked along with the body. The button bands are worked by picking up stitches along fronts. Sleeves are knit in the round, top down. Also included is instruction for adding a zipper instead of a button band.

A tree motif of about 10” high is worked on the back.

Finished chest sizes: 32 36, 40, 44, 48” / 81.5 91.5, 101.5, 112, 122 cm

The lower part of the cardigan above the hem makes a sort of fence design, which is duplicated on the bottom part of the sleeves.

The original sweater was knitted using Rico Luxury Natural Silk Blend, 5-% silk, 3-% wool, 20% cotton. 50gm/115m (125 yds), crème (9 skeins).
