Reminiscent of tiles from the famous Ceramica D’Agostino, Arromor combines nested lozenges, a diamond lattice and floral-diamond motifs. Like Ponti’s modular designs, its repeated geometric elements can be recombined to create a more complex surface, echoing the construction of a colourwork pattern across the Hat.

Each Hat in the Iterations collection is knitted bottom-up and in the round. The ideal yarn for these Hats is 4-ply or light sportweight, in a multi-plied fibre with some natural give, such as merino.

Hat Description
Arromor is a stranded colourwork Hat worked from the bottom up in two colours. The colours are equally weighted in the pattern, using two-stitch and two-row patterning. The Hat starts with a corrugated rib brim that’s finished with a lateral braid. The body pattern features an alternate nested diamond pattern, which is reflected and repeated vertically all the way around, creating a striking graphic effect. The crown features the arrows converging towards the centre.
