This hat is knit as a tube, with a three needle bind-off six times (from the outside to the middle) to make the asterisk on the crown.

You can adjust sizes through yarn and needle sizing. I’ve knit in either worsted or aran weight yarn.

All proceeds will be donated to the Wool-Aid postage fund to get hand-made woolen items to children and young people in need in some of the coldest parts of the world.
