The pattern includes two sleeve designs. The 2021 version features a simple reversed stockinette stitch, while the 2024 version introduces an aran pattern.
It is presented in written form along with charts, and both should be referenced together. The fundametal shape of the pattern can be seen within the swatch, providing instructions alongside the chart.
Learning to read the chart won’t take much time since you can easily grasp the basics by examining the swatch. Additionally, although the aran pattern looks intricate, it is simple, making it accessible even for beginners.

CONSTRUCTION

The cardigan is worked from the top down. Starting with the back shaping with short rows, after the shaping is complete the back is worked until the underarms, then the stitches are put on hold.
Stitches for the shoulders are picked up along the shaped edge. The left and right front are worked separately to the underarms. Underarm onwards, front and back are joined together and worked in one piece. When the body is completed, stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armhole opening and worked in the round to the cuff. Stitches for the button bands and neckband are picked up and worked in 2x2 ribbing.
