The Aura Cardigan is a cocoon-style cardigan with flair! Featuring a subtle post stitch detail at each color change, long sleeves (which can be cuffed when needed), and a generous ribbed collar, this design is all about the little things. Work it up in a neutral ombré, as I did, or break out the self-striping yarn, or go for a solid color. Anything goes!

Level: Advanced beginner. Involves working flat and in the round, double crochet, fpdc, and sc BLO.

Yarn: Bulky (5) weight yarn in three colors. Sample used WeCrochet Wonderfluff in Finnley Heather (CA), Cobblestone Heather (CB), and Wellies Heather (CC). This is a very lightweight bulky yarn with a blown construction. You may be able to meet gauge with a heavy worsted/aran yarn as well.

Yardage: 266 CA, 170 (312, 312) CB, 568 (870, 1310) CC
Please remember that yardages are approximations based on my sample and those of my testers, and may vary depending on the yarn used!

Sizes: Sizes 1 (2, 3) to fit bust 28-38 (40-50, 52-62)“ or 71-96.5 (102-127, 132-157.5) cm. See photos for full size chart.

Construction: The bulk of the main body is worked in the round in a square. Rows are added to two sides to widen the rectangle, which is then seamed. Sleeves are worked flat, seamed, and sewn to the armholes, and then a ribbed collar is added.
