• DESCRIPTION: This lightweight blanket is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa. It’s not too heavy and uses a lacy stitch that will let you catch a bit of breeze to keep you from getting hot. It is made from a super soft yarn that has the texture of Alpaca yarn but isn’t made with animal fibers. This is probably my favorite project I’ve designed. I would have made it bigger but I ran out of yarn.

It’s a generous size but isn’t too large. It’s a great sofa throw and will keep your knees warm while keeping your arms free. Or snuggle into it to keep your arms warm. Drape it over your shoulders to keep your back warm. There are so many ways to use it.

• GAUGE & SIZING: Gauge (tension) isn’t very important in this project but will affect final size and yardage. For reference, my gauge is 6 V stitches and 9 rows per 4”.
Play around with hook sizes until you find one that makes a fabric you like. This pattern is written to produce a throw that is roughly 52 inches by 56 inches.
