I found the Blue Moon Fiber Arts, Socks that Rock at a lovely yarn shop on the Oregon Coast. This is the same shop where I purchased my first skein of artisan yarn. With that skein I knit up a scarf in a similar ripple pattern as this shawl. I am typically drawn more to cool colors but the warm orange tones in these skeins called to me. I love everything about this shawl. The weight is fantastic for an autumn stroll on the beach. The drama of the warm tones is balanced by the gray palette. There aren’t any particularly difficult elements in this pattern but it isn’t overly monotonous either. I look forward to seeing what colors call out to you for this pattern!
