I do love stripes and have a small tradition - design something with stripes every August. So here are three striped design for the last three years: Barred Top (2025), Serpen Tee (2024) and Cardamon Tee (2023).
This month has been always special for me as 9 years ago around these days I’ve started my small knitting shop on etsy and never put my needles away since then.
Thank you for knitting my patterns along with me and allowing me live this crafty life!

Barred Top is a close-fitting top with a crew neck and slightly cropped length. It’s designed with a unique striped pattern and all over rolled edges. Use your favorite colors with high contrast for the best-looking stripes. You can wear it as a top for summer days or as a vest for extra layers when colder days come. It pairs perfectly with skirts and linen pants or with high waist jeans.

Barred top is worked top down and seamlessly.
You started work with the back yoke, shaped shoulder with increases in every row. Continue working in Stockinette stitch with stripes to the underarms, shaping armholes with increases, as you come to them. Once the back yoke is ready, back yoke stitches are placed on hold. Left and right front shoulders are picked up separately while the neckline is shaped with increases. As the neckline is ready, both fronts are joined together and continued working in Stockinette stitch with stripes to the underarms. After, back and front yokes are joined and worked in the round. The body is continued working in Striped pattern to the hem. The hem is finished with a rolled edge. Last touch – finish neckline and armholes with rolled edge for a more polished look.
