Beach Party Pullover
If you are looking for a sweater that is not only a party to knit, but a party to wear, then this is your next project! Knit in sport weight yarn, this medium size sweater looks like a beautiful beach scene with the gorgeous fading in and out of colors that you will master in this design, especially when using the suggested yarn below. I highly recommend using the beautiful Ancient Arts Yarn I used in my project, but you can substitute any sport weight yarn you prefer. Not only is the sweater gorgeous, but it is reversible! The seed stitch makes it identical on the body of the sweater on both right and wrong sides, but the sleeves will show either the garter stitch side, which gives a more subtle feel, or the stockinette side, which gives a bolder look, depending on your preference. You should be proficient in both knit and purl stitching, be able to ssk as well as knit and purl 2 stitches together for the decreases, know how to pick up stitches, know how to sew up seams, and be able to graft in order to create this sweater of your dreams!
