Shawl is a crescent shape started with 3 stitches and increased by eyelet stitches, Top edge is created in garter stitch with 3 stitches at the end of each row and ruffled bottom edge is three sets of bell stitch. Most bell stitch patterns are written to knit bottom to top. Here all three sets of bells are made top to bottom for finished lower edge.The three sets of bells are separated by reverse stockinette stitch. Bind-off is after set 3 with more than 1,000 on the last few rows. Make sure your needles are long enough and patience fortified. Worth the effort for the end result!
