You start these unusual fingerless mittens by knitting the thumb.
The special design enables you to knit the mittens any size you like and the sloped edge covers the fingers perfectly.

Ben Nevis Mittens feature a cable pattern, using worsted (9ply) yarn.

77 g of Malabrigo Rios (Pure Merino Superwash), in the colour Paris Night (052) were used for the sample, in a medium female size.

General instructions are written and include several photos. There is a chart for the cable pattern.

You will either need DPNs or a circular needle if you prefer the magic loop method, 4 stitch markers, a cable needle and a needle.

These mittens are second in the mountain mittens series for 2020.

Man beginnt diese ungewöhnlichen fingerlosen Handschuhe mit dem Daumen.

Die besondere Konstruktion ermöglicht es, den Handschuh in jeder beliebigen Größe zu stricken und die schräge Kante bedeckt die Finger perfekt.

Für die Musterhandschuhe (Damengröße M) wurden 77 g Malabrigo Rios (Pure Merino Superwash) in der Farbe Paris Night (052) verstrickt.

Gestrickt wird auf einem Nadelspiel oder einer Rundstricknadel mit der Magic Loop Methode, außerdem benötigt man 4 Maschenmarkierer, eine Zopfnadel und eine Nadel.

Die Anleitung ist ausgeschrieben und enthält mehrere Fotos zur besseren Darstellung, das Zopfmuster ist in einem Chart dargestellt.
