I’ve always thought that books are bigger on the inside and that they instantly transport you to other worlds, so why not mark your place with something else that does?

I designed this TARDIS bookmark for one of my fellow Whovian friends.

The gauge is not important, and the size can be easily changed by using different yarn or needles.

The gaps for the sign and the windows are created by binding off a certain number of stitches, cutting the yarn, and eventually casting on the same number again. You’ll end up with quite a few loose ends, but so does the Doctor. ;)

I knit mine up in two evenings, though I was distracted. Either way it knits up quickly.
