This leaf applique uses a twisted cable to create veins that stand on a backdrop of reverse stockinette with a garter stitch edge and i-cord stem.

The samples are knit with a worsted weight cotton on US 3 (3.25 mm) DPN’s and measure 4.25 inches long and 2 inches wide at the widest point (11 cm long by 5 cm wide).
