Birthday girl
FORMAT: PDF document of 11 pages with detailed instructions and images illustrating the process
Pattern: doll, dress, baloon
SKILL LEVEL: Easy/ Intermediate
FINISHED SIZE: If done with fingering or super fine yarn and 1.3 mm hook, it’s sitting 12” (30cm) tall
MATERIALS:
- Yarn (Weight: fingering or super fine yarn)
• Beige (skin)
• Red (shoes)
• White (shoes, dress)
• Black (strip on shoes)
• Brown (hair)
• Green (balloon)
- Hook 1,3
- Fiberfill
- Yarn or tapestry needle
- Wire
- Black and white felt for the eyes and red for tongue
- Few plastic (can be used on the cover of plastic containers of ice-cream, for example)
IMPORTANT:
• All rounds are worked in a continuous spiral, unless instructed otherwise
• Use a stitchmarker for counting your rounds
• If you prefer to sew parts together, leave a long tail after you finish off. I think the toy looks neater if you sew with a finer yarn. (For example, a seperate piece of thread from the yarn you crocheted with)
• It is easier if you add your fiberfill to all the pieces as you are crocheting them
