Bloom Tee
The Bloom Tee is a top-down tee based on a raglan construction that includes a simple, yet elegant, cable motif. It includes optional instructions to knit German short rows to shape the back and bust decreases to shape the bust. I’m sure it will be a wardrobe staple for you to wear all year (with the magic of layering).
The piece is worked in the round, top-down and seamlessly. First, the yoke is worked in the round in stockinette stitch, adding the cables along the raglan increases. Then the body is worked in the round after leaving the stitches for the sleeves on hold, and then, the sleeves are worked in the round.
The pattern includes written instructions for every size.
About the skill level, I recommend this pattern if you’re a confident beginner, since you’ll use some basic techniques, such as increases (left leaning and right leaning), cables, decreases, knits and purls.
Sizes
The pattern comes in 10 sizes (from 70 cm/27.5” to 160 cm/63’’).
- If you want and oversize fit, I recommend 5 cm of positive ease.
- If you want a more fitted look, I recomend 5 to 0 cm of negative ease.
