The Boss Stitch Beanie was the inspiration for this cowl, and both were inspired by my mom and her love of sewing (plus the need for something to keep her warm).

Sizes: This cowl is written for two sizes, the small will fit over your head and encircle your neck like a cowl neck sweater, and the large can be worn draped over you or doubled to fit snugger to the neck.
Small has a circumference of 26”/65 cm and 8”/20 cm
Large has a circumference of 55”/137.5 cm and 8.5”/21.5 cm

Materials: Bulky weight yarn.
Pictured samples worked up in Cascade 128 Superwash.

Video Tutorials included: (in alphabetical order)
-Elastic cast on (not required, but recommended)
-Joining in the round
-Swatching in the round (easier than you think)
-Working magic loop (not required, but added to pattern in case you would like to work the small on a needle longer than 16” - hint: the longer the needle the easier it is to use magic loop, with nothing shorter than a 40”/150 cm cord)
