These graphic mitts are a great way to use up those partial skeins. Stitch pattern is a traditional mosaic pattern shown only as a chart. The cuff uses the same pattern but is worked in garter stitch for added stability around the wrist. Both a Cuff and Hand chart are included in the pattern. Length of hand and thumb are easily customized for bigger hands.

The mitts are knit bottom up in the round using either Magic Loop or dpns. There is a thumb gusset with detailed instructions on how to do the increases and where to place stitch markers.

The MC uses slightly more yarn than the CC. I’ve made them with fingering held with mohair, sport weight alone, etc. They would also look great with a variegated yarn like Junction Fiber Mills Making Tracks Light. You could even size up to DK yarn and US size 5 needles to make a larger scale pair.
