Mama loafs, papa Loafs, and lots of little slices, make a whole family of bread friends, as big or small as you desire. This pattern teaches you how to make a single slice of bread or a chunky loaf. Use the slices as an adorable set of bean bags, or even use them to help display collectables. (I use mine as sphere stands!) For rounded bottom glasses, they could even be coasters. Use the loaf as an accent pillow, a neck support, or make a monstrously long bread snake to snuggle with.

All my patterns assume a basic knowledge of crochet techniques, and any special stiches used will be explained as needed. This pattern is: Beginner Level. The finished product will require some sewing.

From a skein of Vanna’s choice (170 yards) about six sides of bread slices can be created. A secondary color is needed for crusts, but it is an insignificant amount of yarn, unless making the crust of a loaf, where you can easily consume an entire skein or more to create the desired length.
