Bruno Dog Sweater
Bruno Dog Sweater is a warm, chunky, and easy-to-put-on pullover designed to keep dogs cozy in cold weather. With the super bulky yarn, the sweater knits up quickly — perfect even for beginners.
The sweater is worked top-down, starting from the collar and continuing through the chest, back, and hem.
A stretchable ribbed belly section makes the sweater comfortable and easy to dress.
Instructions include separate hem shaping for female and male dogs plus an optional harness opening.

The pattern provides additional tips for adjusting the length and fit for dogs of different proportions.
Yarn: Super chunky / super bulky weight. The sample is knitted with Novita Hygge Wool. For example, Drops Snow also works but is slightly thinner—use one size larger in the pattern.
Needles: 7 mm (US 10.5, UK 2) circulars; two 7 mm DPNs for chest section.
Gauge: 11 sts × 16 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 × 4”) in stockinette
Yardage: Approximately 150(200)250(300)350(400)450 g / 5.3(7.1)8.8(10.6)12.3(14.1)15.9 oz

Ohjeessa on muutamia vinkkejä ohjeen soveltamisesta erimallisille koirille.
Neuleeseen sopii super chunky - tai super bulky -vahvuinen lanka. Mallineuleet on tehty Novitan Hygge Wool -langalla Myös esimerkiksi Drops Snow -lanka on sopiva, mutta hieman ohuempi, jolloin kannattaa valita yhtä kokoa suurempi ohje.
Bruno-koiranneule neulotaan kauluksesta helmaan. Vatsaosassa on joustinneule, jotta pusero joustaa ja se on helppo pukea.
Nartulla pusero voi peittää koko vatsan, uroksella vatsan alaosaan täytyy jättää tilaa pissaamiselle. Helmasta on mukana kummallekin erilliset ohjeet. Myös valjasaukolle on ohje.
Ohje on tehty neulottavaksi 7 mm paksuisella pyöröpuikolla ja rintaosa kahdella 7 mm sukkapuikolla. Pienimmät koot onnistuvat myös viidellä sukkapuikolla.
