Gather a colorful collection of fingering weight sock yarn and enjoy the playful bubble stitches and two-color brioche. These socks are knit top-down in the round. Select one main color and choose several color pops to decorate the funto-knit stitch patterns. I used 7 total colors for my socks, but you can use as many colors as you like. The instructions include video links demonstrating how to cast on, weave in ends as you go, how to work the heel flap, and Kitchener stitch. Dive into your stash or collect a new skein or two of sock yarn for these wonderful Westknits socks!

Sizes
1 (2, 3, 4, 5)

Finished Measurements
6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5, 10.5)″ / 16.5 (19, 22, 24, 27)cm ankle and foot circumference. Measurements taken after blocking.

Size 4 shown on a size US 13 / EU 47 size foot that has a 10.5″ / 27cm foot circumference. The sock fits with 1″ / 2.5cm of negative ease.

Socks are designed to fit an actual foot circumference of 7.5 (8.5, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5)″ / 19 (22, 24, 27, 29)cm. The socks are designed to fit with negative ease. Choose a size with a finished foot circumference measurement that is approximately 1″ / 2.5cm smaller than your actual foot circumference, so that the sock will fit nice and snug on your foot.

The lengths of the cuff, leg, and foot are easily customizable by knitting more textured pattern repeats for a longer leg or foot or fewer textured pattern repeats for a shorter ankle or foot.

Yarn
Fingering weight

Yardage
Approximately 350 (430, 500, 550, 600)yds / 320 (393, 457, 503, 549)m total

I recommend using 1 skein for the MC (cuff, heel, toe, & MC foreground brioche color).
Use another skein for the CC (background brioche color).

The bubbles contrast color stripes use small amounts of yarn. I used 5 colors for the contrast bubble stripes. I recommend having about 40 – 50yds of each color available for the 5 bubble colors. These are great for leftovers and mini skeins!

Shown in
7 colors of fingering weight sock yarn
MC: Bright neon green used for cuff, heel, toe, and the MC
(foreground color) of the brioche sections
CC: Light Cream yarn for the background brioche color

The other 5 contrast colors are used for the 5 Bubble stripes.
