Butterfly Whisper Socks are knit cuff-down in the round, except the heel flap that is knit back and forth. The pattern includes one schematics and written instructions for the schematics.

SIZES
In this design you will find 3 sizes to choose from. They will appear as: 1 (2, 3) and are equivalent to a foot circumference of 17.5 (20, 22.5) cm / 7 (8, 8.5) inches.
• Size 1: 56 sts.
• Size 2: 64 sts.
• Size 3: 72 sts.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
• Yarn: I used 2 skeins of Regia 4-fädig 4 ply. It’s a sock fingering weight yarn. For size 2 and foot 39 I used 53 grams total. The equivalent is a 100 grams and 400 metres skein of fingering weight yarn designed for socks.
• 2.5 mm (US 1½) needle or size needed to obtain gauge. This pattern is written for circular needles with a 80 cm / 30 inches cable, using the magic loop technique, but it can be adapted to:
o 5 Double pointed needles (DPNS).
o Tiny circular needles with a 23 cm / 9 inches cable. If you use this, you will also need DPNS or a long circular needle to work the toes.
• Spare needle in same size.
• 1 border marker (BOR).
• 2 extra markers.
• Crochet hook for provisional Cast On (in a size equivelent to the knitting needle size required).
• Scrap yarn for provisional Cast On.
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
• Tape measure.
• Scissors.

GAUGE
32 sts and 42 rounds to 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) measured in stockinette stitch using 2.5 mm (US 1½) needles.

• Agujas de 2,5 mm (US 1½) o el tamaño necesario para obtener la muestra. El patrón está escrito para agujas circulares con cable de 80 cm / 30 inches, utilizando la técnica Magic Loop, aunque también puede adaptarse a:
o 5 agujas de doble punta (DPNs).
o Agujas circulares cortas con cable de 23 cm/ 9 inches. En este caso, también necesitarás DPNs o una aguja circular larga para trabajar la puntera.
• Aguja auxiliar del mismo grosor.
• 1 marcador de inicio de vuelta (MIV).
