This knitted pullover sweater pattern is for dolls such as the American Girl doll (18”) and American Girl Twin dolls (15”). The pattern is identical for both sizes -- use of sport or baby weight yarn and different needle sizes will create the two sizes. Using baby or sport weight yarn allows for a detailed and realistically proportioned sweater which is not too bulky on the doll.

It features a center cable on the front and optionally on the sleeves (not shown in photograph). There is a back neck opening to accommodate the large head on these dolls, with a button & loop closure at the back of the collar. Each part is knit individually, then sewn together at seams.

This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners to intermediate level knitters.
