The felted mat measures approx. 12 1/2” wide by 16 1/2” long, not including decorative trim. It’s a great décor item, and an excellent insulator for hot dishes.

The pattern uses 100% wool of bulky weight. It is knit loosely and then machine felted & lined. The finishing touches require minimal sewing. This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners through advanced knitters, NOT for raw beginners.
