This scarf is designed to go with my Cabled Hat pattern (also free) as it uses the same cable pattern.

For the sample I used 190 yards of heavy worsted / Aran yarn on US Size 8 needles. The scarf is about 8 inches wide and 35 inches long. If you want something longer, you’ll want additional yarn.
