Cabled is a one sized freebie sock pattern. This pattern assumes the knitter has knit at least one sock with a heel flap and turn. The directions are thorough but not written with a sock newbie in mind. 



The directions include a cast on of 56 sts. If you prefer 60 or 64 st socks, you are more than welcome to use the instep design with your favorite heel and toe. The pattern could be easily worked toe up, as well!



Note: casting on more stitches will require instep design adjustment. You can do so by adding additional knit stitches at the beginning and end of the design. 


For example, if you co 60 sts; rnd 1 would look like this:

k4, p2, c4f, p2, k6, p2, c4b, p2, k4, sm, k to end of rnd

Materials:

Yarn: 400 yds (100g) fingering/sock weight yarn
; sample knit with Hypnotic Yarn.

Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) 
 Your choice of magic loop, 9” circulars, or 5 DPNs

Extras:  
    1 st marker for bor
    2 additional st markers for pattern identification
    small cable needle
    tapestry needle

Gauge: approx 8-9 sts/inch in stockinette

Fit: customizable
