Agujas recomendadas
Agujas de 2’25 mm (US 1).
Lana
Medidas

The Mysore socks will be available on September, 11th.
The Royal Palace of Mysore, located in the region of Karnataka, in southern India, is the second most visited monument after the Taj Mahal, and the residence of the Maharaja of Mysore, of the Wodeyar dynasty.
Within the palace complex is the Durbar Hall, used by the king for his private audiences, and one of the most spectacular rooms. The Mysore Socks are worked toe-up with a rounded toe, up to the leg, featuring the slip-stitch pattern shared with the matching shawl and sweater, making them unique and super fun to knit.
Skills required
Pattern requires the following skills: knit, purl, knit through the back loop, slip stitches, increasing and decreasing, pick up stitches, cast on and bind off stitches, and knitting in the round on mini circular needles, or DPNs or circular needles 80 cm long to knit with magic loop.
Recommended needle size
US 1 (2’25 mm) circular needles, either 80 cm long if you use the magic loop method, or DPNs or mini circular needles (23 cm). If you use short circular needles, you will still need a long circular needle for casting on and the toe increases until you have enough stitches to work on a shorter needle. You can use another needle size to obtain gauge.
Yarn
Fingering yarn (100 gr, 400/ 420m), in two colors. I have used, for the contrast color, yarns from Life in the Long Grass, in its color Autumn, and, for the main color, yarns from Yarnity, in its quality Étone and its color Acqua.
The amount of yarn you will need will depend on your sock and shoe size. To give you an idea, I used approximately 55 gr for a size 1, 36 shoe size, 40 gr of MC and 15 gr of CC.
Gauge
18 stitches and 24 rows in stockinette stitch over 2 inches (5 centimeters), on US 1 (2’25 mm) needles, knitting in the round with magic loop, after blocking.
Sizes
I give three sizes based on your foot circumference around the widest part of the foot.
Size 1 (small): 8’’ – 8’5’’ (20- 22 cm).
Size 2 (medium): 8’5’’ - 9’5’’ (22’5- 24 cm).
Size 3 (large): 9’5’’ - 10’5’’ (24’5- 27 cm).
Dimensions
The dimensions of the socks will be depending on your sock and shoe size. The sock shown on the cover has 8’4 inches long to the heel and eight repetitions of the slip-stitch pattern before the cuff.
