SKILL:
Intermediate - a mix of cables and lace that you need to pay attention to but all of the stitches are pretty basic

YARN:
Approx 250-275 yds (230-250 m) of fingering weight yarn. Sample uses Snow Capped Yarns, Olde Salt Collection, Egg Island in Bull Kelp.

GAUGE:
30 sts x 38 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stocking stitch with larger needles, blocked (row gauge is not critical)

NEEDLES:
US #3 / 3.25 mm and US #1 / 2.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

ADDITIONAL TOOLS:
Cable needle, 1 stitch marker to indicate BOR, short length of waste yarn (optional)

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Fits Youth/Adult Heads - approx 21” / 53.5 cm around x 10” / 25.5 cm high.

This hat is easily adapted in size/length but be aware this will effect the amount of yarn used.
