Advanced Beginner/Intermediate - a simple mix of cables and lace

YARN:
Approximately 175 yds (160 m) of dk weight yarn.
Sample uses Baa Ram Ewe, Dovestone, in Eccup.

GAUGE:
22 sts x 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stocking stitch with larger needles, blocked

NEEDLES:
US #6 / 4 mm and US #4 / 3.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

ADDITIONAL TOOLS:
1 stitch marker to indicate BOR

FINISHED DIMENSIONS:
Approx 22” / 56 cm around (unstretched, above ribbing) x 8” / 20.5 cm high.

SIZE MODIFICATIONS:
This hat is easily modified in size and length but be aware this will effect the amount of yarn used. Instructions are included in the pattern.

Hat is fully charted and has complete written instructions.
If you love charts only, print pages 1, 2, 5.
If you love written instruction only, print pages 1-4.
