Canada's Pacific Waters
“CANADA’S PACIFIC WATERS”
The Pacific Ocean is the world’s largest ocean covering more than 30 per cent of the Earth’s surface, equivalent to the Atlantic and Indian oceans combined. From low-lying deltas to mountainous fjords, Canada’s Pacific coast is more than 27,200 km long, all within British Columbia, and include the coasts of Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii. More than 75 per cent of the province’s populati0n lives within 50 km of the coast.
Made of 100% washable Merino Wool, the Malabrigo Bobby Blue Rios yarn, with its rich texture and subtle variations in colour, was chosen in an attempt to capture the breathtaking beauty of the sea. A unique, stylized wave pattern adds to the sense of depth and movement.
This pattern is worked from brim to crown.
