Carla’s Cabled Beanie is a single skein hat worked from the bottom up and is simple enough for a beginner to cables. The pattern includes both a written version and charts for all the cabled and decrease sections.

This is the first hat I knitted for my sister when she moved to a wintry climate, so it’s named after her! Having never needed a warm beanie, she was only sure she wanted a pom-pom, but I always need to add cables. I kept them relatively simple so it can be dressed up or down all winter long!

This hat was designed to fit a 24” circumference head but can fit an 18”-26” range depending on the springiness of your yarn.

Notions: stitch markers, cable needle, darning needle.
