This shawl is designed to encourage you to “Try Something New”, combining different crafting techniques like crocheting and hexagon pin loom weaving.

You will crochet hexagon shaped motifs in a traditional cluster pattern, using a beautiful spring green shade of Frabjous Yarns Wonderland Cheshire Cat.

You will also weave hexagons of matching size on the original TURTLE hexagon pin loom (about 4” weaving size). The weaving is done using LANG Yarns Mille Colori 200, a classic multi-colored yarn that will automatically add a unique shade of spring flowers to each hexagon.

The pattern was first advertised in PieceWork March/April 2018, celebrating the magazine’s 25th anniversary.
