This shawl is very simple to knit.

With a couple of changes to a rib pattern, you get a lovely open shawl with a bias cut drape to it.

Feel free to substitute the yarn that I have used,but be aware that it needs to be a relatively smooth yarn so that the dropped stitches will drop and run, any yarn that is fluffy or lumpy would not work as easily.
